This Privacy Policy explains how the Bonkabay mobile app ("Bonkabay", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects your information. By using the app you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information we collect

Account information — if you create an account, your email address and a securely stored password. If you sign in with Apple, the identifier Apple provides.
Profile information — a username/handle, an optional display name, optional profile photo, and an optional date of birth.
Gameplay data — scores, streaks, coins, hints used and friend connections, so your progress syncs and powers leaderboards.
Device & usage data — basic analytics events and a device push token if you allow notifications. Advertising identifiers may be used to show ads.

2. How we use your information

To run the games, save and sync your progress, and show leaderboards.
To send optional notifications (reminders, friend requests, challenges).
To understand usage and improve the app.
To display advertising and keep the app free.

3. Third-party services

Supabase — account, profile, gameplay and friend data storage and authentication.
Google Firebase — analytics and push notifications.
Google AdMob — advertising. AdMob may collect and use advertising identifiers to serve and measure ads. See policies.google.com/privacy.

4. Advertising & tracking

Bonkabay shows ads through Google AdMob, including rewarded ads you can choose to watch to earn coins. On iOS, we ask permission before any tracking via Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt. You can decline and still see (non-personalized) ads.

5. Children’s privacy

Bonkabay is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

6. Data retention & deletion

We keep your data while your account is active. You can reset local progress anytime, and delete your account and associated data from within the app (Profile → Delete account) or by emailing us. Deletion is permanent.

7. Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time and will update the date above.
